What We Believe

The following is what we believe which is taken directly from our Constitution and By-Laws.  Even then, this will not be all inclusive of what we believe the Scriptures teach.  Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

ARTICLE II

DOCTRINES, ARTICALS OF FAITH AND COVENANT

Section 1 - DOCTRINE

We accept the Scriptures as our authority in matters of faith and practice and adopt the Articles of Faith as our interpretation of Bible Doctrine and the Church Covenant as philosophy, which is incorporated into this Constitution and By-Laws.

Section 2 - ARTICALS OF FAITH

I. Of the Scriptures

We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men supernaturally inspired; that it has truth without any admixture of error for its matter; and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the age, the only complete and final revelation of the will of God to man; the true center of Christ-Follower union and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried.

1.    By "The Holy Bible" we mean that collection of sixty-six books, from Genesis to Revelation, which as originally written does not only contain and convey the Word of God, but also IS the very Word of God.  (John 5:39; II Tim. 3:16-17)

2.    By "inspiration" we mean that holy men of God wrote the books of the Bible, as they were moved by the Holy Spirit, in such a definite way that their writings were supernaturally and verbally inspired and free from error, as no other writings have ever been or ever will be inspired.  (Ps. 19:7-11; 119:89, 105, 130, 160; Prov. 30:5-6; Is. 8:20; Lk 16:31; 24:25-27; 24:44-45; Jn 5:39, 45-47; 12:48; 17:17; Acts 1:16; 28:25; Rom. 3:4; 15:4; Eph. 6:17; II Tim. 3:16-17; I Pt. 1:23; II Pt. 1:19-21; Rev. 22:19)

II. Of the True God

We believe that there is one, and only one, living and true God, an infinite, intelligent Spirit, the maker and supreme ruler of heaven and earth; inexpressibly glorious in holiness and worthy of all possible honor, confidence, and love; that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, equal in every divine perfection, and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.  (Gen. 7:1; Ex. 20:2-3; 15:11; Ps. 83:18; 90:2; 147:5; Jer. 10:10; Mat. 28:19; Mrk 12:30; Jn 4:24; 10:30; 15:26; 17:5; Rom. 11:33; I Cor 2:10-11; 8:6; 12:4-6; II Cor 13:14; Eph 2:18; 4:6; Phil 2:5-6; I Tim 1:17; I Jn 5:7; Rev 4:11).

III.  Of the Person and Work of Christ

A.    We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God.  Having been conceived by the Holy Spirit in a miraculous manner and born of the virgin Mary, as no other man was ever born or can ever be born of woman.  He is both the Son of God, and God, the Son, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men.  (Gen. 3:15; Ps. 2:7; Is. 7:14; 9:6; Mat. 1:18-25; Lk 1:35; Mrk 1:1; Jn 1:1-2, 14; I Cor. 15:47; 2 Cor. 5:19-21; Gal. 4:4-5; Phil. 2:5-8; I Jn 5:20).

B.    We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice; and, that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead. (Acts 2:18-36; Rom. 3:24-25; Eph. 1:7; 1 Pt. 2:24; 1:3-5)

C.    We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate.  (Acts 1:9-10; Rom. 8:34; Heb. 9:24; 7:25; 1 Jn 2:1-2)

IV. Of the Holy Spirit

That the Holy Spirit is a divine person; equal with God the Father and God the Son and of the same nature; that He was active in the creation; that in His revelation to the unbelieving work He restrains the Evil one until God's purpose is fulfilled; that He convicts of sin, of judgment and of righteousness; that He bears witness to the Truth of the Gospel in preaching and testimony; that He is the agent in the New Birth; that He seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies, and helps the believer. (Gen. 1:1-3; Matt. 3:11; 28:19; Mk 1:8; Lk 1:35; 3:16; 24:49; Jn 1:33; 3:5-6; 14:16-17, 26; 15:26-27; 16:8-11, 13; Acts 5:30-32; 11:16; Rom. 8:14, 16, 26-27; Eph. 1:13-14; II Thess. 2:7, 13; Heb. 9:14; I Pet. 1:2).

V. Of the Devil, or Satan

We believe that Satan was once holy, and enjoyed heavenly honor; but through pride and ambition to be as the Almighty, fell and drew after him a host of angels; that he is now the malignant prince of the power of the air, and the unholy god of this world.  We hold him to be man's great tempter, the enemy of God and His Christ, the accuser of the saints, the author of all false religions, the chief power of the present apostasy; the lord of the Antichrist, and the author of all the powers of darkness - destined however to final defeat at the hands of God's own Son, and to the judgment of an eternal justice in the Lake of Fire, a place prepared for him and his angels. (Isa. 14:12-15; Ezek. 28:14-17; Matt. 4:1-3; 13:39; 25:41; Mrk 31:21-22; Lk 22:3-4; Jn 14:30; II Cor. 11:13-15; Eph. 2:2; I Thess. 3:5; II Thess. 2:8-11; I Pet 5:5-8; II Pet. 2:4; I Jn 2:22; 3:8; 4:3; II Jn 7; Jude 6; Rev. 12:7-9, 10; 13:13-14; 19:11,16, 20; 20:1-3; 20:10)

VI. Of Creation

We believe in the Genesis account of creation, and that it is to be accepted literally, and not allegorically, figuratively, nor as myth, but rather as historical fact; that man (body, soul, & spirit) was created directly in God's own image and after His own likeness; that man's creation was not a matter of evolution or evolutionary change of species, or development through interminable periods of time from lower to higher forms; that all animal and vegetable life was made directly and God's established law was that they should bring forth only "after their kind" ( Gen. 1:1–2:25; Ex 20:11; Neh 9:6; Jer 10:12; Acts 4:24; 17:23-26; Rom 1:20; Col 1:16-17; Heb 11:3; Rev 10:16)

VII. Of the Fall of Man

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God and in innocence under the law of his Maker, but by voluntary transgression fell from his sinless and happy state, in consequence of which all mankind are now sinners, not by constraint, but of choice; and therefore under just condemnation without defense or excuse. Man is totally depraved and, of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition. (Gen. 1:26-27; 3:1-6; Ezek. 18:19-20; Rom. 1:18, 20, 28; 32; 3:10-19; 3:22-23; 5:12; 5:19; 6:23; Eph. 2:1-3; 4:17-19)

VIII. Of Dispensationalism

We believe that the Scriptures interpreted in their natural, literal sense reveal divinely determined dispensations or rules of life, which define man’s responsibilities in successive ages.  These dispensations are not different ways of salvation (there is only one way of salvation, repentance of sin and faith in Christ), but rather are divinely ordered stewardships by which God directs man according to His purpose.  We believe each dispensation to be God’s unique way of lovingly showing man his wickedness and revealing man’s need for a savior.  Three of these dispensations—the law, the church, and the kingdom—are the subjects of detailed revelation in Scripture.  As a church, we wholly and completely reject Covenant Theology and its varied interpretations, including those that seek to mix Dispensationalism and Covenant Theology.  (Gen 1:28; I Cor 9:17; II Cor 3:9-18; Gal. 3:13-25; Eph 1:10; 3:2-10; Col 1:24-25, 27; Rev 20:2-6)

IX. Of the Atonement for Sin

We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace; through the mediatorial office of the Son of God, who by appointment of the Father, freely took upon Him our nature, yet without sin, honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and by His death made a full and vicarious atonement for our sins; that His atonement consisted not in setting us an example by His death as a martyr, but was the voluntary substitution of Himself in the sinner's place, the Just dying for the unjust, Christ the Lord, bearing our sins in His own body on the tree; that, having risen from the dead, He is now enthroned in heaven and uniting in His wonderful person the tenderest sympathies with divine perfection, He is every way qualified to be a suitable, a compassionate and an all-sufficient Savior. (Isa. 53:4-7, 11-12; Matt 18:11; Jn 3:16; 10:18; Acts 15:11; Rom. 3:24-25; I Cor. 15:3, 20; II Cor. 5:21; Gal. 1:4; Eph. 2:8; Phil. 2:7-8; Heb. 2:14; 7:25; 9:12-15; 12:2; I Pet. 2:24; 3:18; I John 2:2; 4:10;).

X. Of Grace in the New Creation

We believe that in order to be saved, sinners must be born again; that the new birth is a new creation in Christ Jesus; that it is instantaneous and not a process; that in the new birth the one dead in trespasses and in sins is made a partaker of the divine nature and received eternal life, the free gift of God; that the new creation is brought about in a manner above our comprehension, not by culture, not by character, nor by the will of man, by wholly and solely by the power of the Holy Spirit in connection with divine truth, so as to secure our voluntary obedience to the gospel; that its proper evidence appears in the holy fruits of repentance and faith and newness of life. (Lk 5:27; Jn 1:12-13; 3:3 & 6-7; Acts 2:41; Rom. 6:23; II Cor. 5:17 & 19; Gal. 5:22; Eph. 2:1; 5:9; Col. 2:13; II Pt. 1:4; I Jn 5:1)

XI. Of the Freeness of Salvation

We believe in God's electing grace; that the blessings of salvation are made free to all by the gospel; that it is the immediate duty of all to accept them by a cordial, penitent and an obedient faith; and nothing prevents the salvation of the greatest sinner on earth but his own inherent depravity and voluntary rejection of the gospel; which rejection involves him in an aggravated condemnation. (Is 55:1, 6-7; Matt 11:28; Jn 3:15-16, 18, 36; 5:40; 6:37; Acts 2:38; Rom 8:29-30; 10:13; I Cor 15:10; Eph 2:4-5; Col 3:12; I Thess 1:4; I Tim 1:15; Titus 1:1; I Pt 1:2; Rev 22:17)

XII. Of Justification

We believe that the great gospel blessing which Christ secures to such as believe in Him is Justification; that Justification includes the pardon of sin, and the gift of eternal life on principles of righteousness; that it is bestowed not in consideration of any works of righteousness which we have done; but solely through faith in the Redeemer's blood, His righteousness is imputed unto us. (Is 53:11; Zech 13:1; Hab 2:4; Acts 13:39; Rom 1:17; 4:1-8; 8:1; 5:1, 9; Gal 3:11; Titus 3:5-7; Heb. 10:38)

XIII. Of Repentance and Faith

We believe that Repentance and Faith are solemn obligations, and also inseparable graces, wrought in our souls by the quickening Spirit of God; thereby, being deeply convicted of our guilt, danger and helplessness, and of the way of salvation by Christ, we turn to God with unfeigned contrition, confession and supplication for mercy; at the same time heartily receiving the Lord Jesus Christ and openly confessing Him as our only and all-sufficient Savior. (Ps. 51:1-4, 7; Is. 55:6-7; Mrk 1:15; Lk 12:8; 18:13; Acts 2:21 & 37-38; Rom. 10:9-11 & 13)

XIV. Of the Church

We believe that a Baptist Church is a congregation of baptized believers associated by a covenant of faith and fellowship of the gospel, said church being understood to be the citadel and propagator of the Divine and Eternal Grace; observing the ordinances of Christ; governed by His laws; exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word; that its offices of ordination are pastors or elders whose qualification, claims, and duties are clearly defined in the scriptures; we believe the true mission of the church is found in the Great Commission: First, to make individual disciples; Second, to build up the church; Third, to teach and instruct as He has commanded. We do not believe in the reversal of this order; we hold that the local church has the absolute right of self government, free from the interference of any hierarchy of individual or organizations; and that the one and only superintendent is Christ through the Holy Spirit; that it is scriptural for true churches to cooperate with each other in contending for the faith and for the furtherance of the gospel; that every church is the sole and only judge of the measure and method of its cooperation; on all matters of membership, the will of the local church is final. (Lev. 27:32; Mal 3:10; Matt 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-42; 14:23; 6:5-6; 15:22-23; 20:17-28; I Cor 5:11-13; 6: 1-3; 11:2; 12:4, 8-11; 16:1-2; II Cor 8:23-24; Eph 1:22-23; 4:11; 5:23-24; Col 1:18; I Tim 3:1-13; I Pt 5:1-4; Jude 3-4)

XV. Of Baptism and the Lord's Supper

We believe that Christ-Follower baptism is the complete immersion in water of a believer; in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, with the authority of the local church, to show forth in a solemn and beautiful emblem our faith in the crucified, buried and risen Savior, with its effect in our death to sin and resurrection to a new life; that it is pre-requisite to the privileges of a church relation and to the Lord's Supper; in which the members of the church, by the sacred use of bread and the fruit of the vine are to commemorate together the dying love of Christ; preceded always by solemn self-examination. (Mat 3:6, 16; 28:19; Jn 3:23; Acts 2:41-42; 8:36-39; Rom 6:3-5; I Cor 11:23-28; Col 2:12)

XVI. Of the Resurrection and Return of Christ and Related Events

We believe in and accept the sacred Scriptures upon these subjects at their face and full value.  Of the Resurrection, we believe that Christ literally rose from the dead bodily "The third day according to the Scripture;" that He alone is our "merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God;" "that this same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven" - Bodily, personally and visibly; that the "dead in Christ shall rise first," that the living saints "shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump;" "that the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His Father David;" and that "Christ shall reign a thousand years in righteousness until He hath put all enemies under His feet."  (Ps. 72:8; Is. 11:4-5; Matt. 24:27, 42; 28:6-7; Mrk 16:6, 19; Lk 1:32; 24:2-7, 39, 51; Jn 14:3; 20:27; Acts 1:9,11; I Cor. 15:4, 25, 42-44,51-53; Phil. 3:20-21; I Thess. 4:16-17; I Tim. 2:5; Heb. 2:17; 5:9-10; 8:1; 9:28; 12:2; 8:6; I Jn 2:1; Rev. 3:21; 20:1-4; 20:6)

XVII. Future Events

We believe that God has disclosed in His Word the general order of future events. We believe that sin will wax worse until the imminent return of Christ for His saints.  This will be followed by a seven-year period of tribulation on earth, the judgment seat of Christ, and the marriage feast of the Lamb of the Lord and His church in heaven.  Then the Lord will return to earth with His saints to put down the forces of evil and to cast Satan bound into the bottomless pit for a thousand years.  The Lord will at that time set up His millennial kingdom of righteousness on earth.  We believe that at the conclusion of this period, Satan will be loosed for a short while and deceive the hearts of many.  The Lord will then bring forth Satan’s final and everlasting defeat.  Eternal damnation is unleashed in the Great White Throne Judgment for the wicked.  The righteous will then enter an eternal state of bliss (Matt 25:46; Jn 5:28, 29; II Cor 5:10; Phil 3:20-21; I Thess 4:13-18; II Thess 2:1-10; Rev 1:1, 19; 19:9-13, 20; 22: 6).

XVIII. Of the Perseverance of the Saints

We believe that such only are real believers as endure unto the end; that their persevering attachment to Christ is the grand mark which distinguishes them from superficial professors; that a special Providence watches over their welfare; and that they are kept by the power of God through faith unto eternal salvation. (Ps. 121:3; Matt. 13:19-21; Jn 8:31-32; 10:28-29; Rom. 8:28; 35-39; Phil. 1:6; Col. 1:21-23; Heb. 1:14; I Pt. 1:5; I Jn 2:19)

XVIX. Of the Righteous and the Wicked

We believe that there is a radical and essential difference between the righteous and the wicked; that the righteous through faith are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and sanctified by the Spirit of our God, are truly righteous in His esteem; while those who continue in impenitence and unbelief are in His sight wicked, and under the curse, and this distinction holds among men both in and after death, in the everlasting joy of the saved and everlasting conscious suffering of the lost. (Gen 18:23; Prov 11:31; 14:32; Mal 3:18; Matt 7:13-14; 25:34, 41; Lk 16:25; 9:26; Jn 8:21; 12:25; Acts 10:34-35; Rom 1:17; 6:16-18, 23; I Cor 15:22; Gal 3:10; I Pet.1:18; I Jn 2:29; 5:19)

XX. Human Sexuality

We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity should be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, beastiality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of God's gift of sex. We further believe that the gift of life comes from God, and it is God who creates us in the gender, which pleases Him.  Because we believe this to be the truth both naturally and Scripturally, we believe it is unscriptural and unnatural and therefore unacceptable to be actively homosexual, lesbian, transsexual, bisexual, transvestite, or any other lifestyle, whether public or private, which either breaks down or removes the gender rolls that God has declared in His Word for a man and a woman. (Gen. 19:5,13; 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30; Rom. 1:26-29; I Cor. 5:1; 6:9; I Thess. 4: 1-8; Heb. 13:4)

XXI. Marriage, Divorce and Remarriage

We believe that marriage was intended by God to be only between a man and a woman, without exception.  Marriage is also the joining of a man and a woman in bonds created by God and eternally known as marriage.  Therefore we do not recognize any same sex marriage, nor will we recognize any union of two people, regardless of gender, as equal to the marital bonds created by God Himself.  We believe God intended the man and the woman to be married as long as they both shall live.  We adhere to the scripture for all grounds for divorce and remarriage.  Though we believe the scripture puts limits on those who have been divorced, we also recognize that every situation is unique; thus those who have been divorced and remarried or single, may seek service in this church, and the level of that service is allowed on a case-by-case basis as determined by the elders of the church.  We believe that persons who have been divorced and remarried or still single can be greatly used of God for His service.  (Gen 2:21-25; Deut 24:1-4; Mat 19:3-9; Rom 1:18-32; 7:1-3; I Cor 6:9; 7:1-15; I Tim 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9; Lev 20:13)

XXII. Family Relationships

A.    We believe that men and women are spiritually equal in position before God but that God has ordained distinct and separate spiritual functions for men and women in the home and the church.  The husband is to be the leader of the home, and men are to be the spiritual leaders (pastor and deacon) of the church.  Accordingly, only men are eligible for licensure and ordination by the church.  (Gal. 3:28; Col. 3:18; 1 Tim. 2:8-15; 3:4-5, 12)

B.    We believe that God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society.  The husband is to love his wife as Christ loves the church.  The wife is to submit herself to the Scriptural leadership of her husband as the church submits to the headship of Christ.  Children are a heritage from the Lord.  Parents are responsible for teaching their children spiritual and moral values and leading them, through consistent lifestyle example and appropriate discipline, including Scriptural corporal correction.  (Gen. 1:26-28; Ex. 20:12; Deut. 6:4-9; Ps. 127:3-5; Prov. 19:18; 22:15; 23:13-14; Mk. 10:6-12; 1 Cor. 7:1-16; Eph. 5:21-33; 6:1-4, Col. 3:18-21; Heb. 13:4; 1 Pet. 3:1-7)

XXIII. Abortion

We believe that human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being.  Abortion constitutes the unjustified unexcused taking of unborn human life. Abortion is murder. We reject any teaching that abortions of pregnancies due to rape, incest, birth defects, gender selection, birth or population control or the mental well being of the mother are acceptable. (Job 3:16; Ps. 51:5; 139:14-16; Isa. 44:24; 49:1,5; Jer. 1:5; 20:15-18; Luke 1:44)

While we believe that God created us with the free ability to choose whom we love and serve with our lives, we also believe that God has given us the ability to make our own choice concerning the reproduction of the human race. However, we believe that choice ends at the moment two people decide to engage in sexual intercourse.  At the point of sexual consummation between two people, they have willingly and openly committed to each other and God to accept the results of that sexual union.  Thus the ability to choose to carry the child to full term has been made and is not a reversible decision.

XXIV. Euthanasia

We believe that the direct, purposeful taking of an innocent human life is a moral evil, regardless of the intention.  Life is a gift of God and must be respected from conception until natural death.  Thus we believe that an act or omission, which, by intention, causes death in order to eliminate suffering, constitutes a murder contrary to the will of God.  Discontinuing medical procedures that are extraordinary or disproportionate to the expected outcome can be a legitimate refusal of over-zealous treatment.  (Ex. 20:13, 23:7; Matt. 5:21; Acts 17:28)

XXV. Of Civil Government

We believe that God has ordained and created all authority consisting of three basic institutions: 1) the home, 2) the Church, and 3) the state.  Every person is subject to these authorities, but all (including the authorities themselves) are answerable to God and governed by His Word.  God has given each institution specific Biblical responsibilities and balanced those responsibilities with the understanding that no institution has the right to infringe upon the other.  The home, the Church, and the state are equal and sovereign in the respective Biblically assigned spheres of responsibility under God. (Rom. 13:1-7; Eph. 5:22-24; Heb. 13:17; I Pet. 2:13-14) With these convictions we therefore recognize the authority of Government and its’ responsibility to God, as a church organized exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Revenue Law)

XXVI. Of Missions

We believe that God has given the church a great commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations so that there might be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, ethnic group, and language group who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.  As ambassadors of Christ we must use all available means to go to the foreign nations and not wait for them to come to us.  The command to give the gospel to the world is clear and unmistakable and this Commission was given to the churches.  (Matt 28:19-20; Mk 16:15; Lk 24:46-48; Jn 20:21; Acts 1:8; Rom 10:13-15; II Cor. 5:20)

XXVII. Of the Grace of Giving

We believe that every Christ-Follower, as a steward of that portion of God's wealth entrusted to him, is obligated to support his local church by giving of his time, his talent, and his treasure (finances).  We believe that God has established the tithe as a basis for giving but that every Christ-Follower should also give other offerings sacrificially and cheerfully to the support of the Church, the relief of those in need, and the spread of the Gospel.  We believe that a Christ-Follower relinquishes all rights to direct the use of, and request the refund of, either by himself, spouse, children or other family member whether married or divorced, the tithe or offering once the gift has been made. (Gen. 14:20; Prov. 3:9-10; Acts 4:34-37; I Cor. 16:2; II Cor. 8:7; 9:6-7; Gal. 6:6; Eph. 4:28; I Tim 5:17-18; I Jn 3:17; Lev. 27:30; Mal. 3:10)

XXVIII. Love

We believe that we should demonstrate love for others, not only toward fellow believers, but also toward both those who are not believers, those who oppose us, and those who engage in sinful actions around and against us. We are to deal with those who oppose us graciously, gently, patiently, and humbly.  God forbids the stirring up of strife, the taking of revenge, or the threat or the use of violence as a means of resolving personal conflict or obtaining personal justice. Although God commands us to abhor sinful actions, we are to love and pray for any person who engages in such sinful actions.  This is not to be understood that we are not allowed to defend our families, including the church family, and ourselves.  It is to be understood that love is our first response.  (Lev. 19:18; Matt. 5:44-48; Lk 6:31; Jn 13:34-35; Rom. 12:9-10; 17-21; 13:8-10; Phil. 2:2-4; 2 Tim. 2:24-26; Titus 3:2; 1 Jn 3:17-18)

XXVIX. Lawsuits Between Believers

We believe that Christ-Followers are prohibited from bringing civil lawsuits against other Christ-Followers or the church to resolve personal disputes.  We believe the church possesses all the resources necessary to resolve personal disputes between members.  We believe that the decisions of the church body are final in all personal disputes and are to be yielded to in order to maintain a proper, Christ centered attitude among all members of the body.  We believe that an unyielding spirit or attitude is an invitation to discord, thus we acknowledge that an unyielding spirit or attitude is subject to appropriate church discipline.  We do believe, however, that a Christ-Follower may seek appropriate compensation for injuries from another Christ-Follower’s insurance company as long as the claim is valid and pursued without malice or slander.  (1 Cor. 6:1-8; Eph.  4:31-32)

Section 3 – AUTHORITY OF STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith.  The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe.  We do believe however, that the foregoing Statement of Faith represents the teaching of the Bible, and therefore, is binding upon all members, volunteers, and paid staff.
